Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications
  • Junior Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, C&I, Civil, Communication): A three-year full-time diploma in the respective engineering discipline with a minimum of 65% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS and 60% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. The diploma should be from a recognized university or institution. Candidates should also have a strong foundational knowledge in their respective fields, which will be tested during the CBT.
  • Mine Surveyor: Matriculation with a Surveyor’s certificate of competency issued by DGMS or a diploma in Mining/Mining Surveying with the required marks as specified above. Candidates must also possess a thorough understanding of mine surveying techniques and tools. Practical experience in mine surveying will be an added advantage.
Age Limit
  • Junior Engineers: Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as of the closing date of the online application.
  • Mine Surveyors: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as of the closing date of the online application.

Selection Process

The selection process for DVC recruitment includes a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification. The CBT consists of two parts:

  • Part I: General Aptitude Test (GAT) covering vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency, and numerical ability. This section is designed to assess the candidate’s general intellectual abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Part II: Technical Knowledge Test (TKT) with questions specific to the respective discipline. This section evaluates the candidate’s technical proficiency and understanding of core concepts in their field of study.

Compensation Package

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 in Pay Matrix Level 6 as per the 7th Pay Revision. The compensation package includes basic pay, central dearness allowance (CDA), medical reimbursement, leave travel allowance (LTA), NPS, conveyance allowance, leave encashment, and HRA.
